Xavier Master's in Health Services Administration Ranked #1

“I am delighted with the recognition from Modern Healthcare, especially since we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of our program this year,” said Ida Critelli Schick, Director of Health Services Administration at Xavier. “Of course, we are proud of our physician executive graduates and all our graduates. Teaching our students is a team effort; we have a great faculty, staff and alumni and other practitioners who help in this educational process. We have been and continue to be dedicated to the education of future leaders in all segments of health care.”
Established in 1958, Xavier’s Graduate Program in Health Services Administration program (GPHSA) celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, with approximately 1,500 students having completed the degree. It was the oldest program of all ranked and its tuition ranked 11th. GPHSA has a strong tradition of success in the field of health services administration. The program is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Xavier’s GPHSA has an excellent national reputation, offers a paid 8-12 month administrative residency under the preceptorship of a senior level manager, has a strong alumni base across the United States and abroad, offers small class sizes for a personal touch, and has been accredited every year since 1968 when accreditation began.
