Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice Kam C. Wong, presented at the following conferences: International Conference on Terrorism, Human Security and Development: Human Rights Perspectives, October 16-17. The conference was sponsored by U.N. University and the School of Law at the City University of Hong Kong. Wong spoke on “The Idea of Terrorism in China.” On November 15, Wong presented at the Public Security University in Bejing. His presentation was titled “9/11 Commission Report.”
D. Patrick Redmon, associate professor in health services administration and a consultant for Navigant Consulting, Inc., spoke at the University of Cincinnati’s Institute for the Study of Health, on November 5. His topic was “Medicare's Introduction of Severity-Adjusted DRGs for the Inpatient Prospective Payment System.”
