| Description: | X-Action, Xavier's largest community service organization, will host this week's "East meets West" community dinner in coordination with International Education Week. Come learn the great things X-Action has going on and how you can "be part of the action!". Immediately following VegOut will be a student focused workshop on Asset-based Community Development. "Beyond Service: Building Community from the Inside Out" will begin at 6:15 facilitated by Dr. Byron White, executive director of the Eigel Center for Community Engaged Learning. Learn how to recognize and support everyday citizens toward community improvement. Tasty dessert and drinks will be served and the workshop will close by 7:30.
