Just Off Victory Community Garden
The “Just Off Victory” Community Garden, in it's pilot year, is a unique initiative spearheaded by Peace & Justice Programs (located behind the Dorothy Day House) to promote and facilitate a motion of faculty, staff, and students toward a more healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Composed of 6 plots, portions of the garden are tended by teams of faculty/staff and students from departments and offices across the University. Bi?monthly educational and community building events are planned for participants and other interested community members. See our 2009 Season of Events for more information. The garden serves as a gathering place both formally and informally where relationships can be built, lessons learned, and quality of campus life improved.
