Capacity Building
Capacity Building within Peace and Justice is much more than training. In order for students to develop as agents of change they must strengthen their knowledge, understanding, abilities, and skills to efficiently meet their goals in a sustainable way. At Peace and Justice this process includes:
- Interpersonal development, the process of equipping individuals with the understanding, skills and access to information, knowledge and training that enables them to perform effectively.
- Organizational development, the elaboration of management structures, processes and procedures, not only within organizations but also the management of relationships between the different organizations and sectors (the university itself, students, staff, faculty, and the community).
Examples Include:
- Peace and Justice Workshops
- Student Leader Training
