As the spring semester reaches the midpoint, please take note of several major upcoming events:

• Midterm grades are available beginning Feb. 18.

• The deadline to apply for May graduation was Jan. 14. Students who still need to apply for graduation should go to the Office of the Registrar.

• Spring break is March 7-11. There are no classes held during the break.

The Learning Assistance Center is pleased to announce that Cassandra Jones has joined the office as the Assistant Director for Disability Services. This expansion of the staff allows us to provide greater support to students with disabilities.

The Learning Assistance Center also provides content-area tutoring in most subjects; drop-in tutoring in Spanish, physics, accounting and music theory; Supplemental Instruction provided by trained student peers in anatomy and physiology, general biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry; and study skills assistance.
