Director's Note
Happy St. Patrick's Day. With spring break behind, students are back in classes and ready to go into the home stretch of the semester.
For those parents with graduating seniors, please review our article on "Countdown to Commencement" later in the newsletter. Graduation on May 14 is approaching quickly. This year's commencement speaker is Adobe co-founder and Xavier alumnus Chuck Geschke.
For current students, be sure to read the article on summer sessions. Xavier's two-week intersession in May offers a great opportunity to obtain extra credits at an accelerated pace.
Remember that call you received from our student Phon-a-thon staff asking for a donation to the Parents Fund? At this time, we have pledges totaling more than $28,000 that have not been received. I ask you to please follow through on your pledge. We are counting on it.
May the luck of the Irish be with you all.
Regards,
Dianne Fisk
Executive Director, Office of Parent Relations
