Dianne Fisk Director's Note

Campus is beginning to show the signs of spring. Classes are being held outside on the Academic Mall and students, donning shorts and flip-flops, are socializing on the Green Space beside Gallagher Student Center.

For parents with graduating seniors, be sure to review the article on the "Countdown to Commencement." May 15 is coming up quickly.

Also in this edition, I highly recommend reading the article on Xavier's two-week intersession program. Intersession classes provide students the opportunity to earn credits quickly and efficiently.

On another note, if you haven't given to Xavier's Parents Fund, consider doing so online. The Parents Fund directly benefits students by enabling them to experience a wide variety of opportunities outside the classroom, from club sports, spiritual retreats to free movies at the Gallagher Student Center. If you promised to give to the Parents Fund during the recent student phonathon, please follow on your pledge. We count on it and, at this time, have unfulfilled pledges totaling more than $48,000.
