Rounding 3rd and Heading for Home

We're entering the spring semester's home stretch, to borrow a baseball analogy. Students are working on final papers and projects, as well as starting to prepare for the last weeks of the semester. Before students gear up for the end of the academic year, following are a few important dates and reminders they may find helpful:

• Finals week begins Monday, May 3. If your student has a documented disability and is registered at the Learning Assistance Center, please remind them the last day to sign up to take finals through the LAC is Friday, April 23. Also, the paperwork to register for the LAC next semester is available at http://www.xavier.edu/lac/Release-Form.cfm.

• The last day to request a subject-specific tutor or for study skills assistance is Friday, April 23.

• Additionally, Supplemental Instruction continues to meet this semester for Anatomy & Physiology, General Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. Drop-in tutoring sessions are also held for Physics, Spanish, and Music Theory. The schedule is available at http://www.xavier.edu/lac/Supplemental-Instruction-and-Drop-In-Sessions.cfm.
