Summer Internships

November is a good time to talk with your student about their internship or job search, as it can take as many as three to six months to secure an opportunity. Many students are eligible to take part in an internship and most don’t have to wait until their junior or senior year to do one. The Career Services Center just concluded Internship Week, which featured nationally known speaker Lauren Berger, who has been dubbed the "Intern Queen," and included an expert panel and workshop on job and internship search tips. Encourage your student to visit one of the following offices for assistance with their internship search:

  • Career Services Center, Gallagher Student Center 310, for students in the College of Arts & Sciences or the College of Social Sciences, Health, and Education
  • Williams College of Business, Undergraduate Programs Office, Second Floor, Hailstones Hall, for students in business-related programs
