Job-Training Programs and Summer Internship Options

The Career Services Center is offering the following job-training program this month:

Program: Women in Office Work
Date: Wednesday, April 28
Time: 12:30 p.m.?1:30 p.m.
Location: Xavier Women?s Center, 1415 Dana Ave.

The program details how the digital revolution has changed the workplace and how the roles of women in it have been transformed. Richard Polt, a philosophy professor, will discuss how the typewriter was used in offices before personal computers. The program is presented by the Women's Center, Women of Excellence and the Office of Career Services.

Summer Internships

Encourage your son or daughter to visit Career Services today in the Gallagher Student Center, Room 310, for additional internship assistance, including polishing his/her résumé and cover letter.
