Director's Note
I am pleased to announce that Randi and Mike Monaghan, parents of Mary Monaghan, Class of 2011, have accepted the positions of co-presidents of the advisory council of the Parents Association. On behalf of the council, we give our sincere thanks to those parents who have just completed their term of office and welcome the 14 newest members. Council members are your voice to the University. Their contact information can be found on www.xavier.edu/parents. They will be glad to help you in any way.
Meanwhile, spring semester finals begin Monday, May 3, and run through Friday, May 7. Check in on your student to offer encouragement and support during these "final" days.
My Best,
Dianne Burns Fisk
Executive Director, Office of Parent Relations

Grounds Blessing for the New Residence and Dining Complex
The newest construction project on campus is well under way, with a grounds blessing on the site of the residence and dining complex at Ledgewood Drive and Herald Avenue planned for Friday, May 7 at 12:30 p.m. The dining hall will seat more than 800 and the residence hall, which features suite-style dorms, will accommodate up to 525 students, mostly sophomores. The project is slated to open in August 2011. Meanwhile, the first buildings in the Hoff Academic Quad, which include the Conaton Learning Commons and the Williams College of Business , are rapidly proceeding toward completion. Move-in dates for faculty are set for early summer.

Office of the Bursar
The University is moving to paperless invoices with the August 2010 invoice. eBills, as they are commonly called, are electronic invoices accessed via a link sent directly to a student’s e-mail address. Students can provide their parent with a login ID so they, too, will receive the e-mail link. Read more about it.
