TRIP DETAILS - PACKING LIST

Packing List : Pack light and follow the tips below:

Clothing to bring:

  • Layers – several short sleeves and several long sleeve tops; non-logo t-shirts are acceptable
  • Pants below the knee – capri’s will do but may not be warm enough. Kaki-type pants or scrubs are acceptable; avoid jeans as they are heavy to transport and once wet, are difficult to dry in the humid weather
  • 1-2 (maybe even 3) warm jackets, sweatshirts, or fleeces as when it rains and in the evenings it is cool to cold
  • Raincoat/gear and/or umbrella as it will likely rain everyday at least in the afternoon, if not before
  • Something warm to wear for nighttime sleeping
  • Sun protection including sunscreen, sunglasses, and/or hat
  • Comfortable and sturdy walking/working shoes – gym shoes will work nicely; sturdy sandals are acceptable. Make sure toes are closed on all footwear worn for service and excursion days.
