Registration Methods

Freshmen

Freshmen are invited to attend one of the PREP (Priority Registration Experience Program) days which are scheduled during the months of May and June. PREP days begin at 8:15 a.m. and end by 4:00 p.m. During PREP, freshmen take their math and language placement exams, meet with an academic advisor, and register for classes!

By the conclusion of the day, you will know exactly what classes you are taking...you'll be all ready for the beginning of classes in the fall. It's that easy! Schedule adjustments are easily made if you have changed your mind over the summer about a class. If you are unable to attend PREP, arrangements can be made to register via the mail.

Transfer Students

Transfer students register for classes individually. Your acceptance letter will instruct you to contact Mrs. Marilyn Gomez, Director of Nursing Student Services, for an individual appointment. During your meeting, your transfer credits will be reviewed and discussed so you will understand exactly how much additional course work you need to complete your B.S.N.

Out-of-town students can register through the mail if a visit to campus is not convenient. Please contact us to arrange a vist.

Currently Enrolled Nursing Students

Currently enrolled nursing students have the opportunity to register one week in advance of the University student population. This allows nursing students the flexibility to select core classes on days and times they need in order to schedule around nursing class times.
