- April Fool's Edition - Football returns to Xavier Undefeated since 1973. It’s the inside joke that every Xavier student, past or present, knows. It’s a joke no more, however, as the Musketeers will have the opportunity to test that mark next September. In an unexpected but not entirely surprising move, former Xavier Musketeer "Big" Will Caudle officially declared for the NFL Draft yesterday afternoon. A spokesman for the Xavier big man said that Caudle, who played linebacker on his high school football team, has scheduled private workouts with at least six NFL squads, though he would not elaborate. Most scouts agree that Caudle, who averaged 4.5 points and 9.7 high-intensity minutes per game, is being eyed heavily by the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles. |
