- January 25, 2006 - "Underworld: Evolution" is an over-the-top bloody ride of werewolves, vampires, guns, knives, and teeth, which is exactly what makes it such fun. Kate Beckinsale reprises her role as the sexy, leather suit wearing, Death Dealer, Selene, the sweetheart of Transylvania. Scott Stapp, I mean Scott Speedman, returns as Michael, a hesitant werewolf (or Lycan)-vampire hybrid in this worthy, and often superior, sequel to the vampires vs. Lycans war saga hit of 2003: "Underworld." A masterpiece about a masterpiece The film "Capote" is an excellent biography about a man and his most famous book, In Cold Blood. It truly succeeds by capturing the strange creative process and all of the emotion that goes into it.On a writing assignment for The New Yorker, Truman Capote travels to a small Kansas town to investigate the murder of a local family. He is not there to do a police investigation and find the killers; instead, he is interested in the effects of the violent crime on the rest of the town and its residents. It is to be a "human interest piece," the kind of thing that Capote is known for writing so well.
