- January 25, 2006 - On Friday around 7 p.m., Ryan’s Pub will no longer just be serving arguably the best buffalo chicken wrap in the universe; it will also be transformed into a television studio to serve up a big dish of the first student-run television channel at Xavier called "The Muskie." "The Muskie" will be accessible on the campus cable channel 18. Grad student makes a splash for autism On Saturday, Xavier graduate student Hillary Ran will take advantage of the facilities at Gold’s Gym in Hyde Park to host a swimathon to benefit the children at the Cincinnati Center for Autism. Using her life-long experience with swimming, Ran will be the only person swimming the 500 laps to accomplish her goal of seven miles, but many others will be sponsoring her, as well as offering donations. |
