Students’ efforts to change Victory Perk,
the coffee shop in the Gallagher Center, into a student-run business
failed over the summer.
The students, seniors Marcy Conklin, Brigid Kelly, and Jeff Lyon,
and juniors Keri Dooley and Mathew Dooley, devised a nineteen-page
business plan and had lined up vendors and operation plans designed
to take over ownership and operation of Victory Perk beginning with
the 2004-05 academic year.
