The Fifth Annual Diversity Reception

The Career Services Center serves as a comprehensive resource for all students as it relates to career development. Specifically, we practice and promote the valuing the career development of diverse individuals and under-represented groups through providing programs and presentations as well as career-related resources and funding.

The Career Services Center & the Office of Multicultural Affairs will be hosting the fifth annual Diversity Reception
on February 10 2011.  The reception will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Schiff Family Conferen Center Room 4 & 5.

In preparation of this event, we are hosting two preparation sessions:

Diversity Reception 30 Quick Prep-Find out more about the Diversity Reception as well as quick tips on networking. This event will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, January 28, 2011 in the Clock Tower Lounge located on the third floor of the Gallagher Student Center.

Diversity Reception: Networking 101-Find out how to network and build relationships as well as preparation for the Diversity Reception. This event will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Logan Hall Room 101.

The reception is a networking event connecting students from diverse backgrounds and companies who embrace and support diversity.  All XU students and alumni are invited to attend the Diversity Reception.  Pre-registration for the Diversity Reception is not required, however encouraged.  Click here for more information.

Xavier University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, a department in the Division of Student Life and Leadership, exists to help the University realize its diversity goals.  Multicultural Affairs provides services and programs to enrich the academic, cultural and social experiences of Xavier students.
