Raghu Tadepalli is serving as dean while continuing his duties as associate dean of the Williams College of Business
05/29/08The University recently created the Graduate School of Business within the Williams College of Business (WCB). Raghu Tadepalli is serving as the dean of the graduate school while continuing his duties as associate WCB dean. Tadepalli has been at Xavier since 1997 and is also a professor of marketing.
“I am delighted to be named dean of the Graduate School of Business,” Tadepalli says. “Over the past several years, our MBA programs have grown considerably and achieved national recognition. Key to this growth are the efforts of our dedicated faculty and staff. We have benchmarked the best MBA programs in the country and offer our students a cutting-edge curriculum along with services that only the best MBA programs provide. Not surprisingly, our graduates consistently tell us they have received a wonderful education. The Graduate School of Business will allow us to further enhance our MBA programs and thereby serve the needs of our students and the business community.”
From its inception more than 50 years ago, the business college, later named the Williams College of Business, has attracted outstanding faculty, students and staff, and served the community. In the past five years, in addition to being reaccredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, the MBA program has achieved unprecedented growth and national prominence in the quality of its programs.
The creation of a Graduate School of Business follows the same path as several other Jesuit schools, including Marquette, Loyola Chicago, Fordham, Gonzaga and the University of San Francisco.
