Leonard Brzozowski appointed executive director for XNET

XNET serves a range of markets to include business, health care, community engagement, education, government, non-profits

Leonard J. Brzozowski is taking over as executive director for the new Xavier Network for Professional Education and Leadership (XNET).

As the executive director, Brzozowski is helping create an extensive curriculum of professional offerings and individual enrichment programs through the collaborative efforts of a network of individuals from across Xavier. XNET is being guided by a board of advisors and serves a range of markets to include business and health care, community engagement, education, government and non-profits.

“Len's entrepreneurial accomplishments and passion for professional education and leadership programs will doubtless help Xavier continue to fulfill its mission throughout the metropolitan area, region and state,” says academic vice president and provost Roger Fortin.

Brzozowski received his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Engineering in systems theory from Dartmouth College.

Brzozowski was a professor of organizational leadership in the M.B.A. program and director of the Business Leadership Institute at Walsh College in Michigan. His academic areas of interest include speed-based competition, business strategy, entrepreneurship and values-based performance management systems.

Brzozowski has business strategy management consulting experience with Cresap, McCormick and Paget in Washington, D.C., and McKinsey and Company in Cleveland. He purchased and orchestrated the turnaround and growth of Robotron Corp., a global producer of welding and induction heating systems. He also has had experience in manufacturing, engineering and service operations in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Mexico, Korea and Japan. He created joint venture organizations and managed acquisitions, divestitures and mergers. He is a published author and frequent public speaker on leadership, innovation and change.
