03/16/06Peace activist and author John Dear, S.J., is delivering the talk, “Disarming the Heart, Disarming the World: The Active Path of Non-Violence,” at Bellarmine Chapel on Thursday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m.
Dear is the author and editor of 20 books on peace and justice as well as the coordinator of Pax Christi in New Mexico. He has traveled extensively promoting non-violence across the world.
The event is sponsored by the Brueggeman Center for Dialogue. The purpose of the center is to examine and explore interreligious, interdisciplinary, intercultural and interinstitutional critical issues. The center does this through the promotion of dialogue and discussion.
