Inspirational speaker Matthew Kelly discusses seven levels of intimacy

04/01/06Matthew Kelly, a New York Times bestselling author and renowned international speaker, is speaking in the Schiff Family Conference Center on April 10, at 7:30 p.m. Kelly’s presentation is on his latest book, The Seven Levels of Intimacy: The Art of Loving and the Joy of Being Loved, which examines our fundamental nature, focusing on the obstacles and opportunities we encounter in our quest to become the best version of ourselves.
In his book, Kelly comments on our tendencies to put faith in pleasures, possessions and achievements in an attempt to find fulfillment. Yet, somehow we are always left with a sense of unhappiness and dissatisfaction. “Why?” he asks in his book. “You simply never can get enough of what you don't really need.” Kelly believes that to become the best version of ourselves, we truly need intimacy.
