Executive M.B.A. alumnus discussing how to build competitive edge with creativity

02/02/06Min Basadur, a 1971 M.B.A. graduate, is speaking with alumni from the University's executive M.B.A. program at a pre-game dinner at 5:00 p.m. in Williams College of Business. The men's basketball game against George Washington follows at 7:00 p.m. His talk, titled, “Building Competitive Edge Driven by Corporate Wide Applied Creativity,” addresses how successful corporations use creativity throughout the company to solve problems and develop a creative corporate culture.
Basadur manages Basadur Applied Creativity, a creative management company, which has worldwide clients, including JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Pepsico and the governments of Canada and Singapore. In addition, Basadur is a full professor of innovation and organizational psychology at McMaster University and featured on World Business Review. Basadur also worked at Procter & Gamble developing new products and markets and shared his secrets on how to generate creativity and leadership in the book, The Power of Innovation.
