Xavier brings William Bennett to town
Former drug czar speaking at leadership conference on Tuesday
Former secretary of education and drug czar William Bennett is the keynote speaker for the seventh annual Lessons in Leadership Conference
presented by the University's entrepreneurial center. "Values Based Leadership: Restoring Character and Confidence in the Workplace" is the emphasis of this year's conference, which takes place Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in the
Northern Kentucky Convention Center.
This one-day event offers practical solutions to dealing with issues in the business world. Thought leaders and an expert panel share their ideas and strategies for reestablishing a true foundation of trust for every team member, customer and investor.
Bennett, author of "The Book of Virtues," was named by Time
magazine as one of the 25 most influential people in America. Recently, Bennett joined CNN as a network contributor and offers commentary on "American Morning" with Paula Zahn. At the conference, Bennett is addressing the workplace's response to and prevention of ethical lapses and breakdowns in the workplace. In addition, he speaks on how to tackle the challenge of achieving an environment of corporate decency and responsibility.
