Prospective students can learn about different program options with a touch of a key

02/19/03

The University’s M.B.A. program is offering its first online information session on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The session is sponsored by the Ohio M.B.A. Network and takes place from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. A virtual introduction to the program and the different options it offers—evening, weekend and executive—is accessible online. "Not everyone can come to campus for information sessions, " says Jennifer Bush, director for M.B.A. enrollment services. "They may be traveling or living in Louisville. So I think this will give us a chance to reach people we haven’t been able to reach before. It also helps promote us as the technologically advanced university that we are." Prospective students will log onto the site at to www.ohiombanetwork.org and find chat rooms for Xavier, as well as other universities such as Kent State, Ohio University, Cleveland State and the University of Cincinnati. Individuals can chose the school they’re interested in, enter that school’s chat room and ask the M.B.A. program’s administrative staff questions. Individuals interested in Xavier’s M.B.A. program can also attend an on-campus information session on Wednesday, March 12, from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., in the Cintas Center. For more information about either session, contact the M.B.A. program at XUMBA@xavier.edu or call 513 745-3525.
