Xavier faculty and staff had a chance to add some reflection to their workday. The Food for Thought 2005 program, sponsored by Ignatian programs, featured two events to designed to help attendees find spirituality in the arts.

On Friday, Feb. 25, Laura Ruwe, assistant registrar and volunteer at the Cincinnati Art Museum, presented a slide show that highlighted spirituality in art objects from the Cincinnati Art Museum collection.

On March 4, Gene Carmichael, S.J., associate vice president for the division of mission and ministry, displayed his photography for Marbles, a small, full-color book providing a daily guide for contemplation, and share stories behind various shots. Marbles has been distributed both inside and outside of the Xavier community.

Both events took place in the Gallagher Student Center, Room 214, from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
