West overcomes injury to lead Musketeers
Five players score in double figures as Xavier pounds Duquesne, 93-58

Nevertheless, once the game started, the injury became irrelevant as West scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Xavier to a 93-58 win
. It was his 12th double-double of the season, the most for all NCAA Division I players, and the 58th of his career, which is the most among active players.
All five of Xavier's starters scored in double figures, with Romain Sato scoring 18 points, Anthony Myles scoring a career high 16 points, Dedrick Finn adding 14 and Keith Jackson 13 points.
Duquesne struggled from the field, hitting just seven field goals in the second half. Xavier, meanwhile, hit 31 of 38 free throws.
The Musketeers, who are 13-4 overall and 4-1 in the A-10, return to action Saturday with a 7:00 p.m. game at Fordham.
