Baseball staff offers hitting camp

Concentrated courses on the basics of hitting offered for the next four Sundays

Baseball players between the ages of 14 and 18 years old can get in the swing of things beginning this weekend when the Xavier baseball coaching staff hosts the first of four hitter's workshops. Instructors from the Musketeer baseball staff are offering concentrated instruction on the basics of hitting at the camps, which run from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on four consecutive Sundays: Jan. 19, Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9. The cost to attend all four Sundays is $120. There is a family discount available for each additional child at $100 each. A team discount is also available at the same price with six team members mailed in at the same time.
