Before the University takes its Easter holiday from Thursday, April 8, through Monday, April 12, several campus events take place that offer an international perspective from Western countries and Central American regions.

On Tuesday, April 6, “An Evening with Madame F," a powerful one-woman performance of theater-with-music about a Holocaust survivor, is being presented at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallagher Student Center theater. Pianist, singer and actress Claudia Stevens created the script. The office of mission and ministry, the Edward B. Admission to the event is free, but seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Also this week, a delegation from Pakistan, Bangledesh and Afghanistan discusses democracy and religious pluralism in a closed session in the Brueggeman center on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following, a public panel discusses "The Prospects of Peace between Islam and the West" at 2:30 p.m. in Kelley Auditorium located in Alter Hall.
