Musketeer season ticket holder has title role in NBC’s Who Wants to Marry My Dad?

During basketball season in Musketeer territory, you’ll find Don Mueller cheering from the stands in his prime season ticket seats at the Cintas Center. But Monday night you’ll find him poised to propose as the subject of NBC’s new reality TV show, “Who Wants to Marry My Dad?”

Mueller, a resident of Fairfield, Ohio, and owner of Mass Marketing Inc., was selected to be the subject of the show after his daughter Heidi met a casting director while auditioning for a different reality TV show. “Who Wants to Marry My Dad?” is a spin-off of NBC’s popular “Meet My Folks,” in which parents screen potential dates for their son or daughter in a process of elimination that goes as far as administering a lie detector test. In the spin-off, Mueller’s two daughters and two sons choose among women in line to potentially become their stepmother.

The finale, in which Mueller proposes to one of two finalists, airs Monday, Aug. 11, at 10:00 p.m. Perhaps this fall Xavier fans will glimpse Mueller’s new bride joining him at Cintas to cheer on the Musketeers.
