Amy Waugh, the senior point guard on the Universitys womens basketball team, is earning top honors across the country. The Fort Wayne, Ind., native was recently selected by ESPN.com as one of the top five point guards in the nation. Last year Waugh was a member of the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team and the A-10 All-Tournament Team. Coming into her senior season, she has totaled 952 career points and 433 career assists.
"Remember when Xavier beat Tennessee two years ago? Waugh had a huge hand in that upset win," says ESPN analyst Nancy Lieberman.
