Xavier participates in the federal Yellow Ribbon Program for military veterans and their families

The program provides tuition dollars and benefits to active military personnel as well as veterans

Military personnel and veterans have a variety of options at Xavier for obtaining degrees at the graduate or undergraduate level with extensive financial aid resources and support from the University.

Now, as a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges Consortium, Xavier is also participating in the Yellow Ribbon Program, the government’s Post-9/11 GI Bill that pays up to the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition.

As a private university, Xavier is working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to make additional funds available to meet its higher cost of tuition. The bill was signed into law in June 2008 and offers benefits to active military personnel and their families and to veterans.

The program for veterans at Xavier is operated by the Center for Adult and Part-time Students. For more information about Xavier’s program and the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges Consortium, visit www.xavier.edu/caps/Programs-for-Veterans.
