Xavier mourns the loss of two Athletic Hall of Fame members, tennis coach Jim Brockhoff, 78, and golfer Steve Dixon, 37

Xavier University is mourning the death of two Athletic Hall of Fame members today, Thursday, May 30—longtime tennis coach Jim Brockhoff at age 78, and 1999 graduate/golfer Steve Dixon at age 37.

University President Michael J. Graham, S.J., praised Brockhoff, who coached at Xavier for 45 years, as "truly a man for others." A detailed story on his passing with visitation and Mass information can be found here, on the GoXavier.com website.

Dixon came to Xavier from Canada and proceeded to rewrite the school's record books, being named the team's Most Valuable Player all four years.
