Xavier University’s Williams College of Business is partnering with the Southern Ohio District Export Council (SODEC) for the fourth annual International Trade Conference on Thursday, Oct. 22.
“Selling to the Middle East and North Africa” focuses on trade with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, Libya and Algeria.
Jamal Abu-Rashed, professor and director of the Center for International Business at Xavier, is speaking on international trade. Other topics include free trade agreements, corporate and governmental perspectives, banking challenges and legal considerations.
Presenters from Procter & Gamble, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Inter-American Development Bank and Frost Brown Todd are among those making presentations. The keynote luncheon address is by Robert L. Fregolle Jr., Global Officer-Customer Business Development with Procter & Gamble.
