Xavier University is hosting its International Photo Contest for the fourth year in a row
The dealine for students to submit their photographs is Jan. 20

The contest is open to currently-enrolled graduate and undergraduate students. Contestants may submit photographs of different places from around the world that exhibits high technical and artistic merit and a sense of place or culture outside the United States. Each participant may submit up to five entries. High resolution images should be submitted on a CD to the Office of International Student Services by the Jan. 20 deadline.
The entries are being judged by Greg Rust, Xavier’s director for photography, Gene Carmichael, S.J., spiritual counselor in human resources, Lea Minniti, director for International Student Services, and Jonathan Gibson, assistant professor of art. All contest finalists’ photos are displayed in the Faces of the World lounge in the Gallagher Student Center, which showcases images of different cultures from around the world.
