Xavier University Williams College of Business is one of the 300 Outstanding Institutions
To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to announce that Xavier University Williams College of Business is one of the 300 outstanding institutions featured in the 2011 edition of our annual Best Business Schools guidebook, which published today and is now available in bookstores nationwide. My sincere thanks go out to the hundreds of schools that provided assistance during our student survey and editorial processes—we could not have published this exceptional student guide without your help!
The title of this year’s guide is The Best 300 Business Schools: 2011 Edition. For this edition, we’ve collected the opinions of more than 19,000 students at the best AACSB-accredited MBA programs in the world. We’ve also gathered statistical information on many more MBA programs in order to give readers the widest possible base of information for selecting the right business school for them.
Attached please find a copy of your school’s two-page profile as it appears in the new edition of the guide (note: there is no fee for the rights to reprint this text). The “Survey Says” section of the profile highlights some of the topics students at your school most agreed upon. The ranking lists at the beginning of the book report the top ten schools in 11 categories. The rankings are tallied using data from our student surveys as well as data reported by your school (note: we do not rank the schools in the book 1 to 300 hierarchically). If your school appears on one or more of our ranking lists, you will find a sheet attached here detailing the specific list(s) and rank. In addition, all ranking lists in the book are now available on the Business area of our website at http://www.princetonreview.com/business-school-rankings.aspx.
Also attached are materials for you (or your school's media relations office) to publicize your school's inclusion in the book. They include a customizable press release that can be issued at any time (this information is not embargoed). The release has sections to insert excerpts from your school's profile as well as information about any ranking lists your school appears on in the book (please note: if you do not receive a separate document of ranking highlights, then your school does not appear on any of our ranking lists this year). Also attached is the news release we issued today on the rankings in this book and in our book The Best 172 Law Schools: 2011 Edition that also published today.
Additional publicity materials are available for download from http://www.princetonreview.com/law-business-materials.aspx. They include graphics: the book cover, the Princeton Review logo, and our official seal (for use in appropriate print or electronic promotional material), citing your school as a Best 300 Business School.
At our site, you can also find answers to FAQs about the book, survey and rankings, plus a "User's Guide to our Business School Rankings," (it explains what each ranking list is based on), and a "User's Guide to our Business School Ratings" (it explains what each of our ratings – numerical scores we give to the schools on various topics – is based on). To access this information, go to http://www.princetonreview.com/business-school-rankings.aspx.
The annual release of our Best Business Schools guidebook generates a surge of attention, awareness, and queries about the outstanding schools we recommend in it, from both the news media and the highly coveted audience of prospective applicants. This year, we’d like to work with your program to convert this attention and awareness into direct inquiries for your school. Now, more than ever, it's pivotal to reach prospects early and in ways that best communicate the value of your b-school's program. Please contact Josh Escott at (800) 333-0369 ext. 1407 or JoshE@review.com to learn about partnership options.
Should you have any questions or comments regarding your profile, rankings or ratings, please contact Abe Koogler at (888) 347-7737 ext. 1271, or AbeK@Review.com. Media queries may be directed to Jeanne Krier, Publicist for our Princeton Review Books at 212-539-1350, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to producing more great books with Xavier University Williams College of Business in the future!
