Annette Marksberry, associate provost and chief information officer of Xavier University, announces that Judy Molnar will return to the university on August 13 as executive director of Infrastructure and Technology Support.
Molnar has spent the last year as project manager at MCPc, Inc. Before that, she spent four years at Xavier as director of technology support. She has more than 20 years of experience in technology advising, support and planning in higher education, utility, transportation and banking.
In her new position, Molnar will oversee support and management of the university’s enterprise converged network, core computing systems, personal technology platforms and user experience. She will provide strategic direction for how Xavier manages its technical resources to effectively and efficiently support students, faculty and staff.
“Judy’s ability to lead a team is unsurpassed,” says Marksberry. “She has the respect of many across campus and I look forward to her rejoining my leadership team as we work to take technology at Xavier to a new level.”
While at Xavier previously, Molnar was responsible for the technology support areas within the division. She brings expertise in project planning and management, procurement, sourcing, budgeting, and staff development.
Molnar earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1991 from the University of Akron and an MBA with a concentration in Information Technology from Kent State University in 2007. She received her Project Management Professional certification in 2004 and is a member of the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Project Management Institute.
Molnar lives in Miami Township, Ohio with her husband, Ron.
