Xavier University Hires AVP for Planning and Budgets

Beth Amyot, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Xavier University, announces Keith Baldwin was hired as assistant vice president for Planning and Budgets, effective Nov. 5.

He brings more than 20 years of experience, most recently as director of Financial Forecasting at Duke Energy, and held several positions with Duke, Cinergy, and Formica Corporation. He earned his MBA from Xavier and his bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.

As AVP for Planning and Budgets, he will develop and coordinate Xavier’s comprehensive, multi-year financial plan, capital and operating budgets, financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. He is responsible for policies, procedures, and financial information systems related to planning and budgets.

“I look forward to working with the faculty and staff as we continue building on the strengths of the University to support Xavier’s mission and vision,” said Baldwin. “Xavier has an excellent reputation and I am proud to contribute to the Xavier community.”

Baldwin lives in Lebanon with his wife Tammy and their sons Bryan and Matthew.
