The Xavier University Center for the Study of the American Dream hosted best-selling author and former Nixon advisor Kevin Phillips on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Schiff Conference Center of Xavier’s Cintas Center. This event was free and open to the public.
Kevin Phillips was a strategic advisor to President Richard Nixon and the former editor/publisher of The American Political Report. He has contributed to the Los Angeles Times and The Wall Street Journal and is a regular commentator for National Public Radio. His New York Times bestselling books include the recently published Bad Money, as well as American Theocracy, American Dynasty, and Wealth and Democracy.
The Center for the Study of the American Dream aims to provide leadership in national discussions of politics and public policy in an academic setting. The Center also serves as a center for researching crucial matters of public policy and governance, and disseminating its findings to the public.
