The Xavier University Department of Art is pleased to present an exhibition of student work February 17-March 9. Work from all studio disciplines will be exhibited-ceramics, drawing, fibers, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
Ceramic sculptures created utilizing many techniques will be presented. Drawings and paintings include a variety of media. Fiber techniques include batik, silk, weaving, tapestry and mixed media. A variety of printmaking processes will be presented. Sculpture includes various materials and processes, relief and sculpture in the round.
Please join us for the artists’ reception, Friday, February 17, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the Xavier University Art Gallery in the A. B. Cohen Center. Meet our student artists as you enjoy the art! Refreshments will be provided by the Society of Visual Arts.
