Xavier Police Launch Non-Emergency Number

The Xavier University Police Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new non-emergency telephone number to contact the Police Department; the new telephone number is 513.745.2000.

The Police emergency telephone number is NOT changing and remains 513.745.1000.

The purpose of new 513.745.2000 telephone line is to provide a convenient way to contact Xavier Police for routine matters or questions.   Please use this new number for all non-emergency calls. Using this new number will allow police dispatchers to prioritize calls better and provide a faster emergency response. 

Below is the phone tree for the new number.

Press 2:  emergency dispatch

Press 3: General Campus Information and the Welcome Desk

Press 4: Parking Services Menu

Press 5: Crime Prevention and Community Policing Office

Press 6: Chief Mike Couch

Press 7: Lieutenant William Smith

Press 8: For a Shift Supervisor

Press 9: For a Police Representative

Press #: For the Address of the Police Department.

 

The number will go into effect on Tuesday August 24^th at 7:00 am.
