On March 5 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and March 6 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Xavier Players will present Giants! directed by John Lewandowski, Madcap Puppet Theatre’s Artistic Director. This is the third and final show in this season’s Hats Off series collaboration between Madcap and Xavier. Tickets cost $7 each. They can be purchased online now at https://xavier-players.ticketleap.com and in person beginning February 21 at the Gallagher Student Center Box Office and by phone at 513-745-3576.
Remember Jack and his beanstalk? Well, Jack is back! Join Jack and his sons in this larger-than-life sequel. Jack is an old man now who needs a little help from his talking beanstalk and his sons as they embark on new tales with loathsome giants. The giants keep getting bigger and the tales taller as they tackle these great stories including The Stone Giant, an Iroquois legend, The Heartless Giant from the Czech Republic and The Brave Little Tailor from Germany. This sequel is full of laughs and surprises that will leave the audience wanting more of Jack and his gigantic adventures.
