Xavier Players Present Workshop 2011 Students Present their own Works
From April 7-10 at 7:30 p.m. Xavier Players will present Workshop 2011. Tickets cost $3 each. They can be purchased online now athttp://xavierplayers.ticketleap.com and beginning April 4 in person at the Gallagher Center Box Office and by phone by calling (513) 745-3576.
It’s time for the students to run the show! Workshop 2011 features performance pieces entirely written, directed, produced and acted by students. Students from all academic disciplines join in to make these scripts come to life. This year’s Workshop consists of six individual pieces, one drama and five comedies, showing off a range of characters from bank robbers to a mad scientist to a gambler. Add in some singing and dancing in a Glee like setting and there is something for everyone. Workshop 2011shows off the creativity and innovation of the students and is considered a highlight of the Players’ season.
