Voices for Change is comprised of a series of different performance pieces that are written, directed, produced and acted by students. The pieces focus on contemporary issues of justice and social equality. As the name Voices for Change suggests, the show demonstrates how theatre can serve as an impetus to bring positive, social change for societies. Through their work, the students will shine light on the various problems affecting the modern day world.

Plays, by their very nature, can be considered theater of conscience as they serve to make us more aware of our human condition. Xavier Players strives to combine real-life experience in the form of meaningful service that relates to the issues presented in the plays. In this act of service one truly becomes socially aware.
