Since Xavier Leadership Center launched Corporate University @ Xavier University last Fall, enrollment has more than tripled, with over 1,500 professionals representing 125 leading organizations joining us over the past 12 months.  Duke Energy is the most recent company to join other organizations who already offer their employees leadership and professional development growth opportunities by participating in Corporate University. Mark Wilson, Director of Training, Methods and Procedures at Cincinnati Bell, is pleased with Corporate University and continues to send a number of Cincinnati Bell employees through the program. Wilson adds, “Offering Cincinnati Bell employees access to Corporate University gives us all a great deal more flexibility. Our employees can pick and choose the courses that best meet their professional development needs at a time that is convenient. Also, our employees gain exposure to different business cultures, so they can come back and build better business practices to serve our own customers.”

Expanding upon XLC’s popular Leadership Foundations Certificate Program and nationally and globally recognized professional certification programs, XLC’s Corporate University will also begin to offer new certificate programs in the Fall of 2013, which include:

Innovation Certificate  Xavier Leadership Center is introducing a 4-day Innovation Certificate Program that has been applied successfully in hundreds of innovation workshops at Procter & Gamble. This unique certificate program focuses on energizing leaders and enabling the innovation process to flourish in your organization.

Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) Exam Preparation Program Xavier Leadership is now offering a Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) Exam Preparation Program. The five program series includes: Relationship Building for Maximum Influence, Strategic Thinking, Servant Leadership: Leading with the Heart, Thriving During Change and WOW Customer Service. Each program blends learning with hands-on application, with time in between each scheduled workshop for work specific leadership assignments.

Public Sector Leader Certificate Program  Xavier University Williams College of Business, the Department of Criminal Justice and the Xavier Leadership Center have partnered to create a Public Sector Leader Certificate Program (PSLCP). “We’re excited to continue expanding the Corporate University curriculum in response to the growing needs of our clients and the demands of the marketplace,” says Bruce Miller, Director of the Xavier Leadership Center. “Time and again, our participants return to take more programs, not only for our depth of offerings and the unique expertise of our facilitators, but also to network with and learn best practices with peers from across industries.”
