700 WLW Radio and Xavier Leadership Center will help you take the first step with a new, FREE seminar on “Networking Essentials for Job Seekers,” from 9-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Cintas Center on Xavier University’s campus.

Sandra Vogel will discuss “Increasing Your Net Worth”, highlighting ways to network and brand yourself effectively. Dr. Vogel is an award-winning professional speaker, trainer, and internationally-recognized facilitator with over 20 years of experience in management, training and education. She is a certified contract trainer at the new General Electric Learning Center, as well as a certified trainer for Development Dimensions International (DDI), Achieve Global, Kepner Tregoe, and GE’s Professional Leadership courses. As a member of the Xavier Leadership Center’s faculty, she trains professionals on topics including Presentation Skills, Assertive Communication, Change Management, Influencing Skills, Networking, Personal Branding, and Dressing for Success.
 
Andrea Dale will present “Unlocking LinkedIn for your Job Search”, offering tips and ideas on how to use this online business networking engine to maximize your job search process. Ms. Dale, a speaker, trainer, marketing consultant and LinkedIn specialist, brings more than 20 years of professional marketing and writing experience to her work. Her background includes technology, business coaching, career development, magazine writing, and professional services. Ms. Dale’s knowledgeable and “real life” approach to online social networking and marketing helps professionals engaged in sales or career transitions, gain key insights and succeed based on what they already know.
