ShareXavier Community 'Welcomed' by The Office of Multicultural Affairs
Guest Speaker Dr. Lee Jones, President of InSpire Magazine, urged students to achieve their potential through academic rigor and leadership opportunities

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) hosted a Welcome Reception on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 4:30pm in the Clocktower Lounge of the Gallagher Student Center. The reception was designed as an opportunity to meet the staff of OMA and connect with members of the Xavier University community.
The keynote speaker for this event was Dr. Lee Jones. Dr. Jones is a leading educator, civic leader and entrepreneur. He is currently Professor of Educational Leadership at Florida State University. Dr. Jones is also President and Executive Editor of InSpire Magazine and Executive Director of the ILEAD Institute. His address empowered and encouraged students as they embark on a new academic year as well as discuss the importance of diversity in society.
