XUCB Protests Games Against Wright State

04/12/11

Yesterday, XUCB officially filed protest forms with the NCBA for two games that were meant to be played Sunday afternoon after Wright State University was unable to man a full team to play a scheduled doubleheader at Rotary Park in Dayton, OH.

The games were cancelled Sunday due to the inability for WSU to field a team, yet WSU claims the games were cancelled due to unplayble field conditions.  That statement is under dispute, and the NCBA is currently in deliberation and will have a ruling shortly.  If the NCBA rules in favor of XUCB, the team will move to 7-1 in conference after dropping the first game of the series against WSU in heart-breaking fashion, 4-3.
