VAN DRIVER SAFETY TRAINING

Van driver 12/15 Passenger Van Driver Safety Training     

Please email riskmanagement@xavier.edu regarding safety training during the months of 

May - June - July.  Trainings will resume a normal monthly schedule in August.

Van driver safety trainings will return to a monthly schedule in August.

 

Training sessions will be held in Flynn Hall and consist of classroom followed by on-road driving.  Please allow two hours.  There is no charge for the training.  To register, please email riskmanagement@xavier.edu.   Minimum registration requirements must be met.  Cancellations will be posted on the Risk Management website www.xavier.edu/insurance.  

Students and employees who drive a university-insured vehicle (including leased and rented vehicles) are required to complete the driver authorization process prior to driving for the university.  In addition, van driver safety training is mandatory for students and employees prior to driving a 12 or 15 passenger van for university purposes.  Please check the Risk Management website http://www.xavier.edu/insurance/Vehicle-Use-and-Driver-Information.cfm  for the university's policies on vehicle use, 12 or 15 passenger van use, and the driver authorization process.
